Kamala Abbott
I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and began my career in management with Federated Department Stores. After relocating to San Francisco, I transitioned into technical recruiting, working in the financial district and supporting institutions such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Charles Schwab, Levi’s, Reuters, and the San Francisco Stock Exchange. My work centered on staffing large‑scale data migrations, system rollouts, and technical implementations. I soon discovered a passion for taxation and returned to school to study accounting, building a tax practice in San Francisco before moving to the City of Sonoma. Over time, I began specializing in luxury residential construction projects and ultimately served as a controller for roughly twenty corporations across real estate development, construction, and architecture. I love working with and helping create strong teams.
